Abortion Feature

Description: Show #1-5. A doctor explains different abortion methods. Interview with a woman who had an abortion and thinks it was the right decision, a preliminary interview with a woman at an abortion clinic, different people discuss the physiological impacts of having an abortion, meeting between doctors discussing a patient who wants an abortion and how to advise her. Doctor discusses the advantages of a woman being able to have an abortion in her own community. Interview with a priest who believes that sex is about more than just having children. Cardinal speaking about the Roe vs. Wade decision. Interviews with different doctors, women, and experts on their feelings of a variety of issues surrounding abortion. Footage includes traffic driving through flooded roads and rain, baseball, workers trying to dig out flooded drains and plow flooded roads, riots in Carson beach, police and hurt people, reporters crowding around Susan Saxe being arrested, Dr. Edelin walking through the courthouse, Muhammand Ali speaking at Harvard, stills of a man, aerial view of the countryside, shot of a city street, reporter stand-ups, shots of research equipment, prescription bottles, a welfare demonstration, Mayor White speaking, fire damaged homes, shots of politicians and personalities, a large ship, a barking dog, Princess Ann on a Horse, boxes of Coors beer, cars in the snow. Damaged mag track causes volume to drop or sound to drop out completely in sections. Edited footage, but sound and picture are separate. Mix of sound, wild sound, and silent. Superintendent Marion Fahey responds to their accusations, especially addressing the violence incident at Hyde Park High School the previous day. A woman recites the procedure under which Hyde Park will be reopened. Mix of wild sound and sound.

New Hampshire primary

Description: A series of reports by several different reporters about the Democratic Presidential Primary in New Hampshire. Clark Booth reports on the aftermath of the primary and what is left behind. Footage includes reporter standup, campaign headquarters with only trash left, political cartoons, and reporter standup in front of the Galaxy Room, which has a sign calling it "ABC News New Hampshire Primary Headquarters. Mike Taibbi reports on Jimmy Carter and his performance at the Democratic primary. Footage includes celebration at the Carter Headquarters, part of Carter's victory speech, crowd chanting, reporter in the crowd, Carter walking through the crowd shaking hands. Clark Booth reports on Mark Udall. Footage includes Udall and staff eating ice cream, Udall Headquarters the night of the vote, a man proclaiming Udall leader of the progressive wing of the Democratic party, part of Udall's speech. Introduction for a story by Joe Day, but cuts out before the story begins. Very poor quality video. Sound.

[Ted Williams at Red Sox Spring Training]

Description: Reporter voiceover says that Ted Williams is joining the Red Sox at Spring training for the first time.
