Description: Hundreds of white and African American students arrive at Boston Latin School. Students carry stacks of books and their lunches. Some students walk to school. White and African American students arrive in separate school buses and by MBTA buses. Older students exit MBTA buses and cross the Avenue Louis Pasteur to English High School. Buses operated by Rewhit Transportation depart from the parking lot at the Bayside Mall. African American students are seated on the buses.

The students carry books, bags and lunches. A young African American male student enters the school with a bag and his lunch. Two Asian female students enter the school. An older man in a "Latin" jacket talks to a student outside of the school. A white school official speaks to three female students on the steps of the school. Students and teachers continue to enter the school. Many students carry large stacks of books. A large group of mostly white students exit an MBTA bus which has stopped in front of the school. These students join the others entering the school. Another yellow school bus pulls up in front of the school. White students exit the bus and enter the school. 0:11:35: V: A group of African American students exit an MBTA bus and walk toward the school. The African American students enter the school, followed by a large group of white students. A white student drops his books and hurriedly picks them up again. African American and white students continue to walk toward the school. 0:14:05: V: Large groups of students are gathered in the courtyard of English High School, across the street from Boston Latin School. Cars and buses pass by on Avenue Louis Pasteur. Students continue to enter Boston Latin School. African American students exit an MBTA bus. Several older students cross the street to English High School. The younger students join the stream of students entering Boston Latin School. A group of white students walks along Avenue Louis Pasteur toward Boston Latin School. 0:15:55: V: Yellow school buses are lined up at the Bayside Mall in Dorchester. A few buses line up one behind the other. Trash is strewn around the parking lot of the mall. African American students are seated in several of the buses. Several of the buses are belong to Rewhit Transport, Inc. The buses are assembled in a line as they pull out of the parking lot, one after the other. The video is dark during this scene. A police motorcycle escorts the buses as they leave the parking lot. Four white men confer in the parking lot of the Bayside Mall. Two school buses are visible on the road behind the mall.
