Description:
A story on poverty in Boston and churches that work with the poor. Interview with Vincent Daly of Roxbury St. John's Parrish, and a closer look at two of his parishioners. Interview with Anne, a single mother recently kicked out of her apartment, and footage of the horrible conditions in another apartment. Footage of a soup kitchen that runs out of the basement of the church. The second half of the story focuses on Sister Eustis Caggiano, who runs a free store/donation center out of the basement of the Cardinal Cushing Spanish Center. Footage of Caggiano helping families, people shopping in her store, and an interview with Caggiano. Some video problems. Reporter voice over through reel. Sound.
