Interview with Seiji Ozawa at the start of his seventh season as music director and conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He talks about his first visit to America to study at Tanglewood, which started his relationship with the BSO. He talks about the character and tradition of the orchestra and Boston's pride in it — just as for the Red Sox. They shoot establishing shots and cutaways for editing.
