Description: Editor Bob Moore at South Middlesex News shows how copy is typed, formatted and corrected on VDT monitor, new electronic equipment to the newsroom. He inserts numerical codes for type size, headline size, column width. “Makes for better typing…no more proofreaders…reporters love it…it lifts them psychologically.” Paper has been largely eliminated from the newsroom.
