Meg Vaillancourt reports on the South End Little League championship series between the Dodgers and the Cardinals. Interviews with eleven- and twelve-year old players about why they like to play baseball. Vaillancourt notes that the diverse coaching staff is made up of volunteers from all over the city. Interviews with several coaches about their teams. One coach says that kids can make new friends and learn about people from different backgrounds through Little League baseball. Vaillancourt's report includes footage of the game, the players, the coaches, and the parents on the sidelines.
